Dears, Thank you for your effort with Mozilla Thunderbird. I am using beta channel and actual version 84.0b3 is the first beta which appear extremely slow and unstable. Is here any possibiliy to use last stable version without loosing my profile? (I tried version 78.5.1, however it stops with message „A newer bversion of Thunderbird has mad changes to your profile...“) With kind regards Martin.

Click Windows Start, type cmd and open command window. Find the Thunderbird 78.5.1 program directory. Do thunderbird.exe --allow-downgrade

Zálohoval bych složku s profilem toho beta Thunderbirdu a pak to přeinstaloval natvrdo plným Thunderbirdem. Nevěřím, že jsou tam revoluční změny. Když to bude dělat nějakou paseku, zase to můžeš vrátit. Co tě nutilo dělat Mozille betatestera?

Thanks to both responses! Firstly I downloaded and installed beta 2 and beta 1, with no progress. So I backed up the profile folder, then I installed stable 78.5.1 version and run it with "--allow-downgrade". Everything now works OK. Thank you very much for your kindness. Martin.

I'm afraid I messed this up. I was using beta and after the last update I couldn't play videos anywhere. I tried to fix it several ways. I finally decided to get a stable version so I Downloaded 84. I didn't save my profile. I did read and I thought it would be ok. Now I've lost all my bookmarks and data. I can't see how to fix this. I've looked at trying to restore but I don't see the beta info anywhere. What do I do? Thanks you
