You can no longer get correct previews of files if sourced locally. But do work online. This is essential when developing sites, you need to preview locally.

Get error messages in the consol log like:

downloadable font: download failed (font-family: "socicon" style:normal weight:400 stretch:100 src index:2): bad URI or cross-site access not allowed source: file:///C:/Users/steve/AppData/Local/Temp/Mobirise2019617_133630/20190717_135332/assets/socicon/fonts/socicon.ttf

ALL other browsers do display locally correctly, even Edge!

hi, this is likely happening due to this security fix: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/security/advisories/mfsa2019-21/#CVE-2019-11730

try to change privacy.file_unique_origin to false in about:config, restart firefox and see if this can make a difference (please note that this makes you vulnerable to the described security problem though).
