This problem has just started after I reorganised my folders in Local Folders. Now when I send an email a message pops up saying 'There was an error saving the message to Sent Items. Retry?' Pressing Retry just brings up the same message. Why is this?

'Sent Items' is the name of a folder used by Outlook, I believe. The equivalent folder in Thunderbird is just called 'Sent'. Maybe in reorganising your folders Thunderbird has lost track of where copies of sent messages should be stored. Check in your Account Settings > Copies & Folders.

Correct, I imported mail from Outlook Express some time ago. After reorganising my folders. there remains a folder 'Outlook Express Import' with sub folder 'Sent Items'. Both are empty and they refuse to be deleted! Is there a conflict with sent folders and how do I remove the unwanted OE folders?
