I migrated from Eudora. In Eudora, I could have 2 or more email folders open to view at one time. Is this possible in Thunderbird?

Your choice is right click the folder and select open in a new tab or window.

Right click is your friend when using Thunderbird.

I had to start with version 17.0.9 in order to import the Eudora files. Though the "Open In A New Tab" does open another folder, I can't make it display at the same time, in order to view both folders at once (I have to click back & forth). Is there a setting that will help with that? Eudora had that function. Or, will that work in a newer version?

Thunderbird is not Eudora. Those are your choices. If you open in new window you should be able to resize the windows to display together.
