My 4 yr old clicked on something and somehow joined a Firefox Test Pilot Team. Their was a brief overview on the screen including, "Test Pilot will pop up a notification when a study needs your attention." I have followed the links, in hopes of finding an opt out...no success. Can anyone tell me how to get my daughter out of the Test Pilot Team? If it were in my own profile, I wouldn't mind participating but I don't want my daughter getting confused about things that pop up asking for replies

More detail is given on the add-on homepage, but if you have an ordinary release of Firefox you will have a software extension installed, in order to participate. You will need to uninstall this.

To Uninstall (On XP) use

  • Help -> Add-ons | Extensions |
    Find the Test Pilot add-on and click on [Remove]
  • see also uninstalling add-ons
