I don't see the correct URL for the tab I'm using, just from some one of the open tabs.

I keep about 6 tabs open in each of 3 pages (I know I can create "tab groups" but I haven't yet). I am very frustrated because the "location bar" or space for the current URL does NOT show the URL for the tab that I am currently using, it just stays on some random URL from any one of the tabs that I have open. I like to e-mail URLs to myself so I can print out information, but that is impossible if the correct URL is not showing. How can I get Firefox to display the URL for the tab I am currently on??

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
