Full URL not shown in address bar when going to new page within site...for example...I go to http://www.BuyCostumes.com...that is the full url for the home page. I put Santa suits in their search box and it brings me to a page with a dozen costumes and the url should show me the main url with the extension...in IE it shows this (http://www.buycostumes.com/browse/_/N-/Ntt-santa+suits/results1.aspx) ...firefox is only showing me the main url of buycostumes.com. What is causing this problem.

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

== I don't know

Following your steps (great steps to reproduce, BTW - thank you!) I get http://www.buycostumes.com/browse/_/N-/Ntt-santa+suits/results1.aspx in Firefox 4.0b1. So I don't get the problem you are getting.

Incidentally, why is what is happening a problem for you?

Gerv, I meant...I see you have Firefox 4.ob1...how do I get that...maybe that will fix my problem.

IF it helps...I had this same problem on another PC at my brother's house.

Firefox 4.0b1 is a beta version of the next version of Firefox and it is still being developed. It is like 6 months or so from being a finished product.

I don't see a problem with the URL being displayed in Firefox 3.6.6, it is probably something with your installation.

Time to do a little troubleshooting. Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."

If not, see this: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/troubleshooting+extensions+and+theme...
