How is it possible to navigate in the same tab between bookmarks. When I click on the adressbar, it is only possible to enter an URL. I have never enter an url on FirefoxMobile, therefore I use the Firefox and sync them to the mobile. Is there a possibility to go to the "New Tab"-Tab, on an existing Tab?

Open a new tab to navigate to the bookmarks/collections slows FirefoxMobile down (100 tabs means 10 bookmarks 10 times a day)

The web (mobile)version opens clicked bookmarks in a new tab. Forward and backward navigation inside the tabs are highly desirable but currently unavailable.

The backward navigation is do not navigate to the "NewTab".

I'm always confused, because, when I use the "+" to create a new tab, the new tab is not in the tab-overview.

I use the adressbar very rare, because I use the Desktop-Version of Firefox and make bookmarks. These bookmarks sync with the mobile Version. So I only have to navigate between bookmarks, and this is very uncomfortable.

Hi

Thank you for your question. Firefox for Android has been designed to make browsing on a mobile device quick and easy. As such it is easier to open a bookmark in a new tab and have the previous page available for reference.

This is something that we keep under review and may look to change in a future update.
