Hi on 11/14/17 adobe flash player 27 npapi was installed. Was this part of firefox's auto* update or not? Or something malicious? thanks

hi doitronce, no adobe flash is a separate program from firefox and we can't update it. however if you have installed it once from adobe by default flash will automatically update (and that's a good thing because it regularly needs to fix security vulnerabilities it is affected by). and the last of those occasions was indeed november 14 as well: https://helpx.adobe.com/security/products/flash-player/apsb17-33.html
