I have latest version of Firefox, & Windows7. Most pressing issue: I can't access my Hotmail(Microsoft Outlook) account. Similar to other Microsoft sites, I get error message. I found I can access it on Chrome, but I really prefer to use Firefox.

I've also been receiving messages on forums and websites I'd never been to before saying my IP address has been blocked, banned, or blacklisted. I've never spammed any sites.

Although I never had trouble with it before, I now can't use SystemRestore either. It first said anti-virus was blocking it, but after I removed anti-virus I got the same message.

Any advice?

Hi, try this: Delete all references to the website in question, as shown under the heading 'How do I remove a single website from my history?' in this article - Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox, then try the site (not from a bookmark) again.

If that doesn't help, check you AV settings as shown in this article: How to troubleshoot security error codes on secure websites.

If still not working, please tell us the exact error message you are getting, or provide us with a screenshot. If you need help to create a screenshot, please see How do I create a screenshot of my problem?

Once you've done this, attach the saved screenshot file to your forum post by clicking the Browse... button below the Post your reply box. This will help us to visualize the problem.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!
