Once I read emails from a particular sender, the emails disappear from their folder, even though the total number count shows they are there. Why?

I have many sub-folders under my Inbox, because I receive tons emails daily from lots of different people. I like the email to be pre-sorted for me into their prospective sub-folders. All of the other sub-folders keep and show the emails contained therein, except for one. The number total shows there should be emails to show, but when I click on it, there is nothing there. This is the only sub-folder I have an issue with.

I'm dumping Thunderbird. It's nothing but problems every time I turn around. Now I continually am having sending problems, with TB telling me that a certificate expired and to check my SMTP settings. My settings have been the same ever since I started using TB! What a POS!!

Really... so your having trouble with Security (Certificates) and it does not like your settings. That sounds like a POS anti virus program to be. Not a POS email one.

My anti-virus settings and program haven't changed since the day they were installed. My anti-virus doesn't even scan emails, either coming or going. This is a TB issue, plain and simple.

Yanno Matt, I don't know who you are, and if you work for Mozilla, I'll be reporting you.

Have a great day.
