Since my favorites automatically reinstall I don't think I'm experiencing a totally clean uninstall and therefore if there's a corrupted file the problem recurs. The Not Responding message is accompanied by very slow execution of any commands (i.e. mouse clicks) and predominately in Outlook, but other URL's as well. I'm using Win 10. I wish I could do a screen share with Mozilla Tech support.

We are Mozilla tech support.

Hi,

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.

If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected at http://input.mozilla.org/, where a team of people read it and gather data about the most common issues.

Installed Plug-ins

Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0 Shockwave Flash 20.0 r0
Having more than one version of a program may cause issues. You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.

Flash: Grab the uninstaller from here: Uninstall Flash Player | Windows Uninstall Flash Player | Mac

Then reinstall the latest version.

Flash Player Version: 21.0.0.182 Note: Windows users should download the active_x for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).

Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the active_x.

Firefox comes in two or more folders on all computers. They are;

Maintenance: (Programs Folder) <Windows Only> Firefox itself: (Programs Folder) And one folder in the profile of each user on the computer.

If you remove the Firefox folder, the user folders would not be affected.

The Not Responding message is accompanied by very slow execution of any commands

Is this on all websites? Some?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
