I would like to transfer my bookmarks from old Mac to new Mac--in particular, my bookmark toolbar.

I have an old mac running Firefox 34.0.5 with an organized bookmark toolbar. The new computer is running Firefox 35.0. I cannot "sync" my bookmarks, much less my bookmark toolbar. It seems that both accounts are signed into the same email account. Nothing happens when I "Sync Now" from either computer. Thanks so much in advance for any help.

Get a thumb drive. Using your file browser, open the profile folder you want to copy. Copy Everything, including folders, onto a folder in the thumb.

Example; Your Current Profile > Copy > Thumb Drive Folder \Profile

Windows: %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\ C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\ http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox#Windows Linux: ~/.mozilla/firefox/ http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox#Linux Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/ http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox#Mac

Did you check the Sync log via the about:sync-log page to see if there are errors reported?
