I found that my session activity on a secure (logged-in) website was being interfered with. I could not log-out of that website. After I closed Firefox, a notice appeared that an update was in progress. Why should a Firefox update interfere with an active session? Is this an updating issue that needs fixing?

When I used to take screenshots, they would be automatically named with the date, time, and part of the text captured regardless of language. A few days ago and with no reason I can discern, it now saves any non-English screenshots with something like this "Screenshot 2024-06-23 a[...].png" instead of "Screenshot 2024-06-22 at 08-02-28 Politics Policy Polit[...].png" (usual for English text and what I used to get with all languages).

Which means I have to manually rename screenshots. Does anyone know how I can fix this because I am working on a project with lots of screenshots for topics from different languages?

I was sitting playing on the computer, I go to firefox browser and go to zelenka.guru, I look, and I'm not in an account on this site for some reason. I decided to go to another site, but there is the same problem, as I realized - for some reason I got out of all accounts on all sites.

There was an update posted today. I ran the update this morning. Now Firefox will not open.

YouTube has been so slow in Firefox. It just takes a ton of time for the video to actually play. It's just a spinning circle in a video. I can refresh several times and then it plays. I cleared my cache, history, data...etc everything from Firefox. That seemed to help for a bit. Then it just resulted back to being slow. It's just in Firefox. I played videos in Edge. It was fine. No issues. It's just FireFox. It started most recently too. It wasn't happening a week ago. I even tried going back to an old version of Firefox. Didn't help. Anyone know how to fix? Not using ad blockers either FYI. I just want videos to play normally and fast.

Hello all. Having updated Firefox a few days ago, we can no longer sign into Instagram. This happens only on Firefox, only since the last update, and Firefox is the same browser we have been using for years with Instagram. The problem is the cookie permission window for Instagram a) will not make a selection and b) will not disappear/close. We have attached a screenshot. There are no close tabs/buttons anywhere on this window, and we have looked the full length of the expanded window. As we have not changed any other setting, have not added any software, and this only happens on Firefox, we can only conclude that we have missed something which may have changed or been upgraded with your last update. This is quite urgent, as this is to manage the Instagram account of a wildlife conservation charity. So far we have tried reinstalling Firefox, clearing cookies, and deactivating/uninstalling all add-ons, however this has solved nothing. Could anyone suggest a solution please? how are shortcuts created on my "new tab" home page in firefox browser. I used to be able to create the shortcuts I wanted, not random shortcuts that I might have visited once. Now shortcuts appear that I don't want. I know I can remove them by dismissing them but I should not get them in the first place. Please help.

When im starting my computer, suddenly this program with old firefox logo auto starting on windows taskbar, i cant open(maximize) it....when i hover to that old firefox logo, it just shows random text......

If i'm opening task manager, that program or something is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\AlphaPress under the name update.exe.....i alrd close that program, delete that, and running malwarebytes, but didnt find any threat.....If u can reassure me that it wasnt dangerous malware or anything....maybe some real firefox update?

In my experience with the TF2 Wiki page, clicking an audio file link would open a new tab where I can play the file. Since I've moved to firefox, I can no longer do this. Instead, the file downloads. Is there a way to change this? I saw in another post that you have to change the flag media.play-stand-alone to true but it was already true.

basically just the title. In the last couple days youtube.com specifically has been borderline unusable for me on firefox. All other websites work fine for me on firesfox and youtube has no issues on other browsers.

Firefox "Tabs" when operated automatically will not work on links within emails that I trust. When I manually select the link to open within a "Private Tab"(Personal, Banking, Shopping, etc)the link will work, and connect. I have checked the Windows 10(64) Firewall and my VPN, and nothing is set to block Firefox from connecting the auto-opening Tab. What is the trouble?

I've been unable to complete the installation of the latest version of the Firefox browser for Windows 10 for several weeks because my Bitdefender online protection repeatedly blocks the connection to incoming.telemetry.mozilla.org saying: "firefox.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on an unmatching security certificate to incoming.telemetry.mozilla.org. We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since the used certificate was issued for a different web address than the targeted one."

the size of the offered tabs became too huge in the address bar. Something happened in my browser and it reset all the settings. How can I reduce their size? They take up half of the browser screen

When playing any Ren'Py web build on Firefox Windows, the frames freeze while entering inputs. Depending on what is being displayed on screen, sometimes it will still continue despite the mouse movement, but most things just completely freeze up. Once the inputs stop, the frames will skip ahead to where they should be. This only seems to happen on Windows, as I was told it is not repeatable on Ubuntu using Firefox. This is also not an issue on Chromium based browsers.
