Alright, so here is a picture that shows my issue.

As you can see the font rendering is a bit weird and seems like everything is slightly bolded. How can I go about fixing this or to improve the font rendering to that of IE9, which is my opinion, has the most superior font rendering in the Windows platform.

Try to disable hardware acceleration.

If disabling hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.
