Our network firewall prevents downloads to the desktops. One of our users wants to add a couple of addons to his browser. But the download is blocked.

Is there a way to download an addon and save it for execution on to the network PC?

right-click the green "add to firefox button" for an extension on addons.mozilla.org & select "save link as"... this will save the addon (it's in the .xpi file format). just but the .xpi files on a usb-stick (or get them on the pc of the user in any other way) & drag them into the user's firefox window to trigger the installation of those addons

I'm sorry on the Amazon download page I just see a blue "continue to download" button Which when right clicked doesn't give save as option. When left clicked I get a green button "accept and install" is that the on to right click and save link as?

yes some addons may have a disclaimer before you can install it, then it's the green button (+ accept & install) on the second page that you can right-click > save link as...
