Found these:

I assume that you mean the latter, that has no answers yet.

If you have a problem with importing bookmarks then make sure that you give the file the correct file extension.

Make sure that the backup file with the bookmarks has the correct file extension: .html for a HTML backup and .json for a JSON backup.
You can check that via the right-click context menu of that file and open the Properties.
If you are not sure about the file type then you can open the file in Firefox via "File > Open File"
A JSON backup will show as one long text line without line breaks and a HTML backup as a web page with clickable links.

A JSON backup starts with: {"title":"","id":1,"dateAdded":
An HTML backup starts with: <!DOCTYPE NETSCAPE-Bookmark-file-1>

Bookmark the threads that you start or that you participate in.

Or do a search for old threads using keywords applicable to what you posted, like in the Tags section in your initial posting in this thread.
https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/home/ <= Search Box at the top of that page

There used to be a button that registered users could hit to see a list of all the threads that they posted in, but I haven't seen that button since the forum update last summer, so it either gone or I just can't see with my login level permissions.
