There are reports of version 55.1 of the add-on not working in TB 52.3, and the remedy seems to be to install an earlier version and disable auto-updates until a fix is available.

Does it offer any updates in Tools|Addons?

Removing and adding it again may be useful to make sure you're using the latest version.

I'm assuming you're using Windows. Support for this addon on Linux has been discontinued. Where the addon doesn't work, it's necessary to use another method to do the adjustment, using a userChrome.css file.
