I've gone to 'Bookmarks - Import Favorites' & 'History - Import favorites' & all I get is the first 3 Internet Explorer sub-folders out of a total of 17. My IE Favorites is pretty big, it takes up 2 floppies. I got rid of Chrome because they're a bunch of clowns & now I'm relying on Firefox as my default browser but I really need those IE Favorites sub-folders. Can you help? I end up reinstalling a corrupted XP several times a year, so I'm constantly saving favorites & bookmarks & transferring them to the new installation. Exporting Chrome bookmarks is a nightmare. Their instructions are nothing but a problem. It's impossible to export their bookmarks, so they're gone. I got rid of their intrusive stuff. (Sign into Chrome, my butt.) I was using Chrome because it's fast but it's just not worth the hassle. I just reinstalled XP for the umpteenth time & I'm going to copy 24.5 gigs to a Blue Ray so I can reinstall a pre-loaded XP, with all the updates in the future when Microsoft no longer supports XP. Windows 7 sucks, it's on my new laptop. It's irritating as hell. And 8's going to be another, much too expensive abortion, so I want to keep reinstalling XP for as long as the free downloads still work. My point in relating all this stuff is that I want Firefox to work before I copy everything to the Blue Ray, so please help me find a way to import IE Favorites.

Hi,

You could try the HTML method, if the automatic method is not working probably due to deep nesting.

Importing favorites

You can also try the Plain Old Favorites add-on.
