the back arrow ubder the firefox tab in the upper left corner is not working to return to the previous page
The back and forward arrows underneath the orange firefox tab in the upper left hand corner have stopped working. I can not return to the previous page.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
