What version of Firefox was on the old macbook? If it was at least Firefox 3 then you can use the process in the [[backing up and restoring bookmarks]] article. If you had Firefox 2 or earlier on the old macbook, you will need to copy the bookmarks.html file from the profile folder of the old computer and import that file into your new version.
