How do I get my desktop icons (set up in IE) to open in Firefox?
I've had Firefox installed for some time. I am just now starting to use it because of IE troubles. I can't open my desktop icons with Firefox. They keep opening in IE.

Make sure you have Firefox set as the default browser, see Make Firefox your default browser.
Not related to your question, but you are using an old version of Firefox. You can get the latest version from http://www.mozilla.com
Also, and although possibly not related to your problem, I have to remind you that the version of Firefox you are using at the moment has been discontinued and is no longer supported. On top of this, it has known unpatched bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum security, stability, performance and usability. You can get it for free, as always, at getfirefox.com.
