I recently made a switch to Firefox and while I've been able to find solutions to all my problems, I'm struggling with this one. I use drag-and-drop to upload images really often and in my previous browser (Opera), after my images have been dropped into Discord for instance, the folder would be hidden behind the browser. Firefox does not do this however and stays focused on my folder which means I have to manually click inside Firefox to continue with my work. I was wondering if there was a way to make Firefox come back into focus after I drop images in the browser.

Hi there! As a Firefox support volunteer, I can definitely help you with this issue. To make Firefox snap back into focus after drag-and-drop, you can try this simple workaround. Open a new tab in Firefox and type "about:config" in the address bar. Press Enter and accept the warning. Then, search for "dom.event.focusin.enabled" and set it to "false." This should resolve the problem, and Firefox will regain focus automatically after you drop images into the browser. If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask! Happy browsing!

That setting doesn't exist. There is no references to it in Firefox, the source tree or online.

Indeed, the first thing I did was try to search for "focus" in about:config before posting this question here and nothing came up, just as this one didn't.
