I'm currently using kubuntu 18.04 and I just had to remove my m.2 C: drive because of power outage (it's completely fried) and I downloaded files with my firefox I've made a lot of bookmarks but I haven't signed in to my firefox account and I'm afraid if I log-in and sync I'll lose all my local data. so What happens to my local data if I sync with my Firefox Account?

Go to your local department/electronics store and look around for a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) that is useful for you. The lowest price is $50 +. There are also units on the market that plug into the computer. So, if the battery gets low, it will shut down the computer to protect it.

When you use sync, all selected data is shared with all members of the sync. There is no master when using sync.

Example: You have a bookmark on one member, but not on the other: The other will get that bookmark.

Example: You make a change (anything) on one member, all members get that same change.

You can use sync to share passwords, bookmarks, and history. Anything else may not be compatible between different browser versions or computer systems.
