Firefox 403 Error when Using Google.com and searching anything

more options

Hi,

Since last week, I have been experiencing issues with Firefox. I can open Google.com, but whenever I search anything, I get the "Error 403 - Forbidden". I've read multiple threads about resolving this. I've clear the cache, cookies, history, etc. I've clear everything. I've even refreshed Firefox twice. I've also tried going into Safe Mode and still nothing.

Other browsers, such as Chrome and Edge are working fine. No problems there. I do however prefer if I can continue using Firefox. It is my favorite browser.

Hope there is someone out there that's able to help resolve the issue.

hello Chris Rocko Botha,

Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

Clear all cookies, site data and cache:

  • Click the 3 horizontal lines top right of browser and select Options.
  • Select the Privacy & Security panel and go to the Cookies and Site Data section.
  • Click the Clear Data… button. The Clear Data dialog will appear. ...
  • Click Clear.

Edit > Preferences > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies" Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window [https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Safe+Mode]

I hope resolved your problem then reply back to me.

Thank you

Hi Arman,

Thanks for the recommended step. After doing that, the issue is still not resolved. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled, and still nothing.
