message not loading when forwarding or using CmdE (edit as new)
This just started happening today - Weds 4th. Went to forward and email and the text (and images) from the email I wish to forward do not appear. (only my BCC copy address which is default from the account set-up) appears PLUS I cannot enter a recipients email. BUT When I go to close the window I am asked if I wish to save the message, at which point the text+images from the message I wish to forward do appear BUT even when I save and re-open the message I still cannot add a recipient. Tbird 52.7.0 on Mac Pro running El Capitan. Has been on this OS for some time - problem only just started.

Restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled". If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender.
Hi Matt Thank you Opening with "Add-ons" disabled works...
In as much as I can now: reply to/forward/edit as new - any email. I had not noticed before -as I had not tried to create one- the problem exists with trying to send a new email from Scratch! BUT from what I can make out I do/did not have any Add-ons enabled. Put it this way: There are none that I can re-enable when I restart with add-ons disabled! Have you any other suggestions Thanks StP
Start in safe mode (hold Option when you launch TB), then check 'Reset toolbars and controls' and click 'Make changes and restart'. Any difference?
