before I reloaded Firefox on my Android I had an add-on called clean quit

Hi

I have had a look and yes, it is still available. You should be able to find it from the options menu in Firefox for Android and selecting Tools, then Add-ons. Search for CleanQuit (Mobile) to find and install it.
