I have a really odd problem. I have installed Thunderbird on my MacBook Pro. It is functioning perfectly & has almost 1000 emails saved in the storage folders. When I import mailboxes from Thunderbird into Mac Mail, all the mailboxes appear in Mac Mail, but each folder has EXACTLY ONE email stored in it. What is happening to the rest of the emails. Is there a trick to getting ALL my emails to transfer in?

Clarification - In Mac Mail, under "on my Mac, there is a folder called "import". There is a subfolder called "inbox with ALL the emails in it. There is also a mailbox called "inbox.sbd" (on the same level with "inbox") with subfolders with the names of all the storage folders from Thunderbird. Each of these subfolders had EXACTLY ONE email in it.

This is a Thunderbird support forum. As you say Thunderbird is working "perfectly" you problem is with mac mail. I suggest you ask in an apple forum about import in mac mail. Given that the mbox format used by mac mailis not the same as that used by Thunderbird that their import is no longer compatible. But I would be only guessing. My last use of a mac was before they had colour screens.
