Firefox won't let me see another application on my screen if I click that application. I have to minimize Firefox to see another app.

I'm using a desktop. I have three programs and Firefox open. If I want to shift to another program, I usually just click somewhere in that screen and Firefox (or any other program) goes to the background and the app I select comes to the front. It was working fine yesterday. Today, suddenly, Firefox won't share space. I have to manually minimize Firefox before I can see another program screen Very annoying!

Did you check if you haven't maximized the Firefox window or run Firefox in Full Screen mode?

Make sure you do not run Firefox in Full Screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Command+Shift+F).

When you are in Full Screen mode, hover the mouse to the top of the screen to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear. You can use one of these to leave Full Screen mode:

  • press the F11 key
  • click the Maximize button at the right end of the Tab bar
  • click the Full Screen button in the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list
  • right-click empty space on a toolbar and click "Exit Full Screen Mode"

I'm not that stupid. None of the screens are full size.
