How do I save passwords the box to tick in options is grey and unresponsive
Firefox asked me if i wanted to save my passowwrd for a site and i agreed, i then signed into a new site and was not asked to save password. I looked in options and i can not tick the box to save passwords

Hi simonatherton, be sure your are not in private browsing mode.

@ ideato ..thanks for explaining that feature regarding private browsing and the change it has on the password settings. You may want to let others know about this so that no one has to worry about possible theft of passwords.
