Flash player is already activated. I tried reinstalling multiple times and it still doesn't work.

Right clicking on a flash player as well?

I can right click, and click on the "Settings" option, but nothing comes up (flash content still remains blank).

Does this only happen in the virtual machine?

I think so. I tried on this on 2 different VMs (Lion and Mavericks) and they all have the same issue.

Are there any Global Settings of the flash player that are blocking content? or do you have ActiveX filtering on?

Also clearing the data in here https://forums.adobe.com/thread/889577 has worked in the past. Also I found that you can try disabling hardware acceleration or try a virus scanner on the host computer.
