Options are missing when right clicking on taskbar icon

Currently have FF29. My list of options (open new window, new tab, private browsing, etc) when right clicking the icon on the taskbar are gone. Currently just have unpin and mozilla firefox. I've tried about:config and resetting the browser.taskbar.lastgroupid, but it keeps setting back to user set. Also tried a uninstall and reinstall and no luck.
