Firefox extension inline options tooltip text not being read by screen reader JAWS

Hi I used the inline preference option in my FF extension(FF23) as mentioned here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Extensions/Inline_Options I have created a textbox and added a "tooltiptext" along with "title" and a "desc" , the problem is that my tooltiptext is not being read by JAWS screen reader. Along with my textbox option .. there is another radio option for "Automatic Updates" which also has a tooltip , and that is read by the JAWS . I am not sure what exactly I am missing in my option to make it accessible for the screen reader/narrator. Thanks
