When I browse deep into a website, my pc revs noisily: fan or harddrive, and why?
When I open a particularly big web page, my pc becomes very noisy, whirring and buzzing like an industrial machine. I don't know if it's the fan or the harddrive. Can it be the cache/memory needs enlarging. I have 1.5 Gb installed.

hello, most probably the cpu will be under full load when the fans go up in order to tackle the heat that is generated. you can check that by pressing ctrl+shift+esc to open the task manager and switch to the processes tab to see what kind of resources are used...
You may also have malware if the disks or fans are spinning hard, check with all programs below.
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- TDSSKiller - AntiRootkit Utility
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Also make sure that your computer isnt dusted as that makes more heat = fan runs.
What does the Task Manager say about the page file usage?
