Not sure how to set OPTIONS under Tools, so that they do not conflict with about:permissions. Basically, want to allow cookies for a specific site. I want options to CLEAR HISTORY on exit and not remember any other cookies. Also, seems like you cannot add a site in about:permissions unless you have already been there, so that means changing OPTIONS so the site appears? Not sure how OPTIONS and PERMISSIONS work together? They seem to step on each other? What OPTIONS should be set to take advantage of about:permissions?

If you want to make changes to the cookie permissions (allow or block) and you haven't visited the website (domain) then you need to do that in the cookie manager.

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions

The about:permissions page only allows to manage a subset of the permissions permissions from sites that you've visited (there are a lot more permissions saved).
