The first crash is a JavaScript crash and the second one is a Graphics crash. In addition, you have more extensions on May 12 than on May 11.
You should carefully troubleshoot your extensions and themes.
Note:
- For safety reasons, update your plugins (VLC and Silverlight are outdated).
- For a better browsing experience, try to update your graphics drivers which are quite old (latest AMD driver version is 8.961).
Thanks. I can update the plugins. Didnt realize they were outdated. Now how do I update graphic drivers? I can also update Java. These are my add ons. Do you see any that are a problem.
Thanks so much. I updated vlc and also silverlight. I did check on my computer to check updates for the graphics driver and it said it is up to date. I will check the windows updates to make sure.
I will also try to update the rest of the plugins. Thanks
Hey i helped you on your other Thread -> https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/927193
We were able to deduce that it was your SmartSwipe extension that was causing Firefox to Crash
Anyway, check again by starting Firefox in -> Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if your add-ons/extension are causing the problem.
- Also see this article -> Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems
Check and tell if its working.
I am still crashing and smart swipe has been disabled. I dont think it is any of my add ons now. I updated java, and other plug ins etc. It is still crashing. The next thing I am going to do is update my drivers here. Why on the plugins does it say picasa plugin is a unknown plugin? Also it does this for widows live photo gallery? My last hope is the drivers. If this fails I will have to try going back to firefox 9. I know you helped on the other thread but I couldnt figure out how to add the crash reports there. So had to start a new one here. Thanks again.
Perform the suggestions mentioned below:
1) Restart your Windows in Safe Mode as described in the following article:
2) Uninstall Firefox as described in this article -> Uninstall Firefox from your computer
- Restart your system
3) Download latest Firefox version from the following link using some other Web Browser:
4) Install Firefox 12 as described in this article -> How to install Firefox on Windows
- DON'T START FIREFOX YET
5) Create a New Firefox Profile as described in the following article:
- Basic Troubleshooting - Make a New Profile
- Now start Firefox using this newly created profile.
Check and tell if its working.
-> IF that New Profile works then you can recover your History, Bookmarks and Passwords from the Old Profile.

Thanks I will let you know what happens. I just updated my graphic drivers. I want to see if this works first. Also unchecked the use hardware acceleration which I saw to do in one of the articles I read here. Thanks again and will write tomorrow if this all works.
Thanks just wanted to tell you I am not crashing as often now since updating my graphic card and keeping the smartswipe disabled. I still did crash once. I just cant deal with doing all of these things. I did uninstall completely and reinstall. I feel a browser should not give you all of these problems. My last hope is to go to firefox 9 and not upgrade. In the meantime been having a lot of luck with google chrome and it has less memory I believe. I do appreciate your help. I updated every thing and think it has to be these latest versions because I never had the crashing before these.
