In the Bookmark Files, how does one change the name of a Folder? I have searched for a way to change folder names, but find none.

Not related to your question, but...

You may need to update some plug-ins. Check your plug-ins and update as necessary:

  • Right-click on the particular Bookmark;
  • Choose Properties;
  • Change name in the "Name:" field;

Hope this helps.

You can also open the parent folder in the left pane in the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks) and select the folder in the right pane.
Then you can make the change in the Details pane at the bottom right just like you can with bookmarks.
