Why can't I install Flash Player 11 on the newest Aurora Firefox?

After I updated to the newest Aurora Firefox Flash Player stopped working, so I tried re-installing Flash, Re-initializing the plugin database which did not work. I know Flash works because of other browsers but no matter how many times I install Flash it does not appear on the plugins list.

Basic questions:

Have you installed the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Flash? Only the 32-bit version will currently work in Aurora.

After installing, did you try visiting a page that uses Flash to see if it works even though you don't see the plug-in in your list?

PS Aurora is still a work in progress and Bugzilla reports on Flash malfunctions are many.

Try downloading a new copy of Flash for Firefox, then do an uninstall of Flash, restart, and reinstall.
