I am unable to access certain content on a website I use daily. I have tried proxy setting and changing firewall to include firefox. I am getting a "Corrupted Content Error" It says "The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because an error in the data transmission was detected." This only happens with Firefox. Chrome and IE can access this content w/o problem. This started after the new update. I have had to switch back to Firefox 6 since I have gotten no replies to the last post on Sept. 30. Please help.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

You can get such an error if there are multiple location redirects send via the HTTP response headers.
Firefox doesn't allow that for security reasons.
