I cannot "open a new tab" in my browser. When I click on links some open a new tab and other open a new window. I have tried clicking on the + sign to the right of an existing tab, I have gone into file and tried from there, and have tried CTRL T; nothin works. It has become very time consuming to keep going forward and backwards. I cannot say when this started but I belief within the past month.

This issue can be caused by the Ask.com toolbar (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)

Your system details show that toolbar in the user agent as AskTbFWV5/3.12.2.16749

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
