How do I set Firefox to change to a tab when the page the tab is displaying changes?

more options

I use a website that contains links that are designed to all open in the same other tab (Perseus Project, such as at <http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/hopper/text?doc=Perseus%3Atext%3A1999.01.0193%3Acard%3D1218&doc=soph.+phil.+1218&fromdoc=Perseus%3Atext%3A1999.01.0193&doc=soph.+phil.+250&fromdoc=Perseus%3Atext%3A1999.01.0193&doc=soph.+phil.+250&fromdoc=Perseus%3Atext%3A1999.01.0193>). I can't get Firefox to switch to this tab when I do this, and have to switch manually every time. How do I make Firefox switch to this other tab automatically when the page changes?

I have; it works for the first time I open the tab, but not for subsequent links.
