Since Firefox updated today I have had 2 issues.

The first issue is the biggest issue and the most frustrating.

I open a tab from a link on a page (both ctrl-click and right-click - new tab). As I'm going through each tab after opening multiple tabs, there are a few tabs that are just blank. The URL is in the address bar, but that's all. The button to reload is greyed out. I can't reload the URL. I can't do anything. I have to copy the URL, close the tab, bring up a new tab, and paste the URL. Then it will load.

This is random and doesn't happen to the same URL. Just randomly I have to copy paste a URL to open it in a new tab again.

The 2nd issue I had, and for me a minor one, it took me forever to log into support with my firefox account. It froze up a couple times after clicking the sign in button under my name and account. Eventually, I close the tab and when I came back to try again, viola, I was already logged in.

If you use Webroot security software then look at this thread for possible workarounds for now like to run Firefox in Windows 8 compatibility mode or Firefox 98 Developer Edition. You can also try to uninstall and reinstall Webroot.

I happen to be looking at webroot a little bit ago. It dawned on me that Webroot blocks Chrome from opening sometimes and I have to change a setting to "Allow" Chrome and not "Protect" it.

Firefox happen to be on the list and it was "Protected." I changed the setting to "Allow" and will see what happens. So far I haven't had anymore issues.
