After doing a global search, I can choose some result. A new tab opens in which the message tree with correspondence on a particular topic. If you start viewing messages in this tree, many messages display the content of other correspondence. How to fix it? I re-indexed the letters, but this did not solve the problem.

If you find this error seems to only occur with emails in a specific folder:

  • right click on folder and select 'Properties'
  • clickon 'Repair Fodler'
  • click on 'OK'

Maybe the Global Search has gone awol :( Suggest you rebuild Global database: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/rebuilding-global-database
