No details really. All of a sudden I went on to look up an email address and just can't find the "address book" on the upper left of the page. Nothing to "click"on.

Please understand that I am 75+ and basically still in the analog age, but really like the ease of use, for me anyway, of MTB email. But now, no address book showing on page. Thanks for your help.

Press the alt key to make the menu bar appear. From the menu bar select View-Toolbars and turn your toolbars back on.

Do you see the 3 line AppMenu button mentioned in the second suggestion?

Your reply states you see the View menu. Click it. Then Toolbars. Turn your toolbars back on.

The address book button is on the Mail Toolbar in the main window along with Get Messages and Write. Are you missing the entire toolbar? If so, click the AppMenu button (3 horizontal lines), hover your mouse over Options the then check Mail Toolbar to turn it back on.

Whoever you are, thanks for trying to help, but afraid I cannot find the things you are referring to on my computer page. I find no "Mail Tool Bar" nor can I find an "AppMenu" button or three horizontal lines anywhere on the Mozilla Thunderbird email page.

Now what do I do?, Perhaps give up using the computer would be best! G.

Still no luck.

I hit "ALT" and nothing happens.

All I see on top line (tool bar?) is-file-edit-view-go-message-tools and help

And, I do not see "3 horizontal lines", or any lines for that matter. G.

Thank you so much. It worked that time and the "Tool Bar" came up and now we have the address book back on.

Really appreciate your help. G.
