Usually, I'm able to view certificate info by:

1. Going to «View Page Info» 2. Selecting the Security tab 3. Clicking a «View Certificate» button

In my current version of Firefox, the «View Certificate» button does not show when the certificate is deemed invalid (SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER). Previous versions would show the certificate here, even invalid ones. Is this a bug?

You can open the Certificate Manager and go to the Servers tab. The Servers tab has an "Add Exception" to open the "Add Security Exception" window.

  • chrome://pippki/content/exceptionDialog.xul

You can type/paste the domain in the location field on this page and click "Get Certificate" to retrieve the certificate and click the "View" button to inspect the certificate.
