The title says it all really: basically, I can not open a hyperlink in any E-Mail whilst using Outlook . I can if IE is the browser but not if it is Firefox. For information: my OS is Windows 7. Outlook is 2003.

Chosen solution

I can't think of a reason for Adobe Reader (stand-alone, outside of Firefox) to work while Outlook or a URL-shortcut does not work.

Users sometimes report that Firefox will show a new tab or new window without loading the link, but it sounds as though on your system, nothing is happening at all. Does it matter whether Firefox is running or not before you click the link?

Actually, it doesn't. When I clicked "Post A Reply", it took me to the empty tab page in FireFox. FireFox was closed at the outset, and I was only able to get here via the "click here" concerning the robot response. Otherwise, I have to manually log into Mozilla to get to this forum. Thanks for trying! I'm still at a loss.
