I have 2 separate computers. One works fine with Thunderbird E-Mail,and Firefox. The other one keeps coming up with a Password Required blue square. Inside the square it states: Please enter the master password for the Software Security Device. Then a OK square and a Cancel Square. This blocks me getting my e-mail on this computer.

I can't find a fix for this.

I haven't tried to uninstall Thunderbird and start over yet.

Thanks for your help,

Morrie

The master password protects any account passwords you told Thunderbird to remember. Since you're getting the master password prompt, you evidently set a master password at some point. More information in this article. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Master_password

It is possible to reset the master password, which would also erase your account passwords.
