I was uploading ok, to yahoo mail, and now I cannot upload to attach a file. I keep getting a box that says: upload, do you want to open or save. When I open, the photo I selected is there, along with every pic on my computer. I have tried every fix on this site, and what yahoo tells me. Nothing works, the problem remains. Now I cannot upload to Facebook. I can download ok, but upload, forget it. I dont know what happened, Firefox is updated, java script is up to date, no addons and still will not work. HELP! I would send you a screen shot, but I cant upload, lol.

Hello,

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your bookmarks, history, passwords, cookies, and other essential information.

Note: After resetting Firefox, you will lose any extensions, toolbar customizations, and some preferences. See the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article for more information.

To Reset Firefox:

  1. Open the Troubleshooting Information page using one of these methods:
    • Click the menu button New Fx Menu, click help Help-29 and select Troubleshooting Information. A new tab containing your troubleshooting information should open.
    • If you're unable to access the Help menu, type about:support in your address bar to bring up the Troubleshooting Information page.
  2. At the top right corner of the page, you should see a button that says "Reset Firefox" that looks like this: Button reset. Click on it.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After it is done, Firefox will show a window with the information that is imported.
  4. Click Finish and Firefox will reopen.

First of all, there is no help in the menu. But I have reset the browser twice now, using the information from this site. It has not solved the problem.

You must read all my posts, I have reset the browser several times, without any luck. I have upgraded to 34.05 and still have the problem.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
