Want to show bookmarks by moving cursor to edge left screen, then full screen for viewing websites; no bookmarks, lost on reset.

Firefox was set up so when the cursor was moved to the extreme left of the screen, the bookmarks list was viewed and when the cursor was elsewhere on the screen the bookmarks list was hidden and one would see the whole screen. It was very handy ....this setup was lost when I did a reset of Firefox two days ago. Would like to get that back to the way it was, and haven't had any luck so far....hoping you can help me. I have Windows XP .

Thanks so much.

I think this probably was a feature of an add-on (specifically, an extension).

The "Old Firefox Data" folder that the Reset feature creates on your desktop would contain your old extensions. However, there isn't a convenient list with recognizable names; most will be named with a long unique ID code. It might be easier to run some searches on the Add-ons site than to look up all of those codes...
