I have a comcast email account and a gmail account in Thunderbird. When I send an email from comcast, replies come to my gmail account creating confusing threads. Can this be corrected and if so, how?

Chosen solution

If the Comcast account is sending through the gmail smtp, recipients will see messages as sent from the gmail account, so when they reply, it goes to gmail. Unless the Comcast account is added to the gmail account as a registered sender (in gmail webmail settings), you must set the Comcast account to send on the Comcast smtp.
